Ahmad Aghaei Pistachio (Naturally Open)

This pistachio variety features a relatively large, almond-shaped appearance , and is known for having the whitest shell among all Iranian pistachio varieties. Thanks to its high yield and short time to harvest, it is highly favored by farmers and is recognized as Iran’s newest commercial pistachio variety. The main cultivation areas are Kerman and Khorasan provinces. Its primary export markets include Greece, India, and Arab countries.

Ahmad Aghaei Closed-Mouth Pistachio

This product results from sorting smiling and non-smiling pistachios using mechanical separators. Closed-mouth pistachios undergo two main processing methods depending on quality and type:
1. Shell cracking to extract kernels.
2. Water-opening to create water-open pistachios.
These closed-mouth pistachios are mainly used for:
– Kernel production.
– Water-open pistachio production.

Mechanically Opened Ahmad Aghaei Pistachio

Mechanically opened pistachios are produced by mechanically opening closed-mouth pistachios. This method creates pistachios that resemble naturally open ones but at a more competitive price. Mechanically opened Ahmad Aghaei pistachios are more affordable compared to naturally open Ahmad Aghaei pistachios.
